My wife and I enjoyed the relaxing and beautiful float down the river. There were just a few spots where we went over a drop and were splashed on. Quite a bit of wildlife and beautiful trees. Our guide was knowledgeable about the area and our raft and pointed out many things on the trip. We had to stop for a while because of thunder and lightning but then the sun came out and it was beautiful. Temps in the 60's.

We loved all it. Adam did a great job in explaining everything and when to paddle. It was our first time in Boise and being on the water was fun!

What an outstanding day! My 23yo son and I were the only two guests and we had a wonderful time! Adam was friendly, knowledgeable, funny and passionate about the river. We met at Westmoreland Park and then shuttled back upstream, where the raft was unloaded and dropped into the river. We intentionally took athletic shoes that we didn't mind getting wet, so stepping into the water to climb aboard was no big deal. After a safety briefing, Adam pushed us out into the river and we began a laid-back journey downstream. Merganser and mallard ducks, a couple of ospreys and innumerable song birds joined the parade down the water, which was mostly tranquil and smooth. The "rapids" are just enough to splash a little (and to make me wonder if I need to step up my game and go on a more vigorous rafting trip). We saw a few cute restaurants along the greenbelt that we noted for lunch afterward, and Adam also snapped a few pictures for us (I didn't even think to ask him...he just volunteered) at a few spots along the way. This is a great way to see Boise from a totally different perspective. I travel a LOT and I cannot recommend this experience highly enough!
