The company touts enforcing masking up and keeping everything safe and sanitary, yet they do not even ask people to mask up. When we asked them about the protocols they had online, their answer was, "We're not the mask police!" Also the Oak Mountain Winery was not even prepared for everyone when we visited and the pairing and tasting was not done correctly because they never mentioned what snack item would go with which wine and what to try with various wines. Very small pours. The lunch provided was a turkey wrap and they did not provide what we signed to get.
The guide Sean was great and really made the trip better, however I was not impressed with the way the wineries handled things. For the price, you could probably do a better tour by yourself at the small wineries.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to review Sean and your tour. I would like to address a few of the item’s you have mentioned here in your review. As is stated on the site we follow the current guide lines for our area. And they only require that you wear a mask at all times if you are not vaccinated. And is true our tour guides are not there to police adult guests. You know the the rules and you can make your own choices as to what you are or are not going to do on a public tour, and you should have booked a fully private tour if you wanted to make sure that no one else was around you. We do offer wine & food pairing tours and as a private tour also during the week, however it is booked directly through Little bus tours booking agents only. And I am confused.. You are commenting on a wine tasting and barrel room tour that we only offer during the week and Sean does not work during the week. I think you were on a wine tasting & lunch tour on the weekend. Weekends are very busy in wine country as you saw. We do our very best to have ares'a that are private to us however at the lunch stop we are at the mercy of the wineries. They do their very best to turn the tables as quick as they can however sometimes if a group comes in late before us they may still be at the table and you may need to wait a bit just like you would if you were to walk in on your own. As for the pours each wineries pours are regulated by the wineries and we do not have control over that however; i will let you know that the standard pour is 1oz. There are times that you may be gives larger pours or more pours at different wineries as each winery has it own set of pours and size for their location. You did not purchase a wine & food pairing tour so the wines would not have been set up for that. However; they do put all of the wines tasting note's on a place mat that explains each wine to you so as you are eating your lunch and try the different wines you can read about them. As for the price you paid. We monitor the rates in wine country multiple times through out the year to make sure all of our guests are getting a good rate. Yes, you can get better rates at the less popular wineries as they are trying to get guests to come into their location. We currently only visit 18 wineries and they must offer good quality wines and a great atmosphere for the guests. As for Sean, yes he and all of our guides are great and do everything in their power to make sure that all of our guests are having a great time. He was also there to help you learn about the wines you were drinking and help you with your selections. I am sorry that you feel he was not there to answer any questions you asked and I will go over your complaints about this with him. Once again thank you for taking the time to review your tour guide and tour with us.
