90 Minute Hilton Head Dolphin Tour

Overview

Come explore the low country on a 90 minute dolphin tour with Island Head. We depart from Broad Creek Marina in the center of Hilton Head Island. We explore the beautiful water way of Broad Creek a rich eco system of wildlife including the famous bottle nose dolphin, a variety of birds, and so much more. We will also explore the Calibogue Sound where we will see from the water the famous Harbour Town Lighthouse, Daufuskie Island, Buck Island, Bull Island, and see Hilton Head Island from the water. Depending on the time of day and tides the captain will take the boat to the best spot off of these locations to increase our chances to find some wildlife.

Enjoy a smooth ride aboard our comfortable custom tour boat. There are many different routes for our USCG captain to choose from based on the conditions. This is a great was to get up close with nature in the low country.

What To Expect

Harbour Town Lighthouse and Museum

We pass by the famous Harbour Town lighthouse. Take in the sights of Harbour Town from the Calibogue Sound.

Daufuskie Island

We will see Daufuskie Island during the dolphin cruise if the conditions are right. There are some popular waterways near Daufuskie Island where dolphins frequently visit.

Hilton Head

We depart from Broad Creek Marina in the center of Hilton Head Island. Broad Creek is a hot spot for dolphin activity on Hilton Head.

I actually did show up early to our 3o clock dolphin tour but it had taken a while to check in due to a delivery driver in front of us in line to “check in”. Once we got to the window we checked in I was told the captain Devon would be waiting for us at at the end of the dock. I’m pregnant and a little bit slower so it took me a few minutes to make it down the doc but as we reached the end the captain took off without us knowing that two people were missing. The lack of communication is frustrating when on the next tour they waited 10 minutes for people and couldn’t wait a few minutes for me. If they would’ve contacted the front where we check in they would’ve known we were right there.

My husband booked this and I am glad he did!!! We originally were scheduled for 3 P.M. today but got a call and asked would we like to go on the 1 P.M. instead and we did. There was a family of 3 on board with us so we had room to move around and take pics and videos. Devin was the best, she shared her knowledge with us and took straight to the dolphins. I recommend Devin and Island Head Dolphins Tours!!!

Devin was friendly,knowledgeable and awesome handling the boat.She explained the ecosystem,area landmarks and even showed us Luke Bryan’s house! My wife and I had a great time and enjoyed our time with Devin
