I had family visiting Boston and we decided to take them on a trolley tour. I honestly didn't expect much. Hugo was our driver and man he was fantastic. Really funny and engaging with everyone. He always had some tidbit of knowledge for everywhere we passed. We actually decided after a few minutes that we were going to ride the whole tour straight through with him and then get back on after lunch to actually get off at different stops. Hats off to Hugo.

We did this tour because that was what was included in our Go Boston card. It had only 9 stops and only really stayed in the immediate downtown. No Harvard, no Fenway. I was a bit dissapponted. The drivers were funny and what we did see was good. If you want a tour that sees more, Old Town Trolly has 20 stops and does head to Fenway, Harvard, etc.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, so to clarify (DON’T BE FOOLED) anymore than 9 stops are hotel pickups to gather more riders, CitView intentionality designed it’s route and stops to maximize our guests experience. CityView is ahead of the times, starting August no competitor will be going to Fenway and currently there are and never has been a Boston trolley tour that went to Harvard. We encourage shoppers to take a very good look at the tour maps, CityView offers the most frequent service throughout the day and allows it’s guests to spend more time with the most flexibility while exploring Historic Boston and the Freedom Trail sites. We also encourage guests to start as early as possible to enjoy all of our historic stops highlighting the best of Boston.

I purchased this tour before we arrived via Groupon. We had no problem redeeming the Groupon. We found it a great way to get around Boston... no parking a car...no driving in the heavy traffic...great to get back on the trolley after visiting a destination stop you wanted to view.
