Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River is our most popular trip! The unique combination of lots of exciting whitewater, spectacular canyon scenery, great mountain views of some of Colorado’s highest mountains and opportunities to spot wildlife make this the ideal raft trip. Exciting enough for seasoned paddlers, but not too scary for first-timers. You will want to bring your friends and family for epic rapids such as Pinball, Zoom Flume, and Big Drop!

Valdez made our trip! Couldn’t have asked for a better guide for our little family of 5 (kids 12, 13, &13). He was patient, encouraging, and informative for ALL the questions my son asked. He kept us safe, but made sure the float was exciting and extra splashy! He was easy to talk to and helped us all learn a little bit about white water rafting. Our kids are hooked and we can’t wait to get back on the river. I’m sure all the guides are good at The Adventure Company, but you’ll luck out if you get to work with Valdez. Also—-I’d trust this company more than any others in the area for white water rafting. The experience their guides have is second to none!

We had a great time on the Brown’s canyon half day trip with our 9&11 year olds. The scenery was beautiful and there was a good balance of mellow rafting and white knuckling through the rapids. Our guide, Paige, was knowledgeable about the area and handled the raft well. She made it seem easy to navigate the River. We all had a great adventure!

Our family had a blast! ROSS was our guide and besides the white water, he made our trip great. We have 4 kids ranging from 8 to 19 and they all loved it. The conservitive ones felt safe and it was enough to excite our thrill seekers. Highly recommend the trip!
