I have an annual pass and during the food & wine festival I purchased a $65 lanyard to be able to enjoy foods & drinks. I visited the park on Apr 17 but was highly disappointed throughout the entire day. Most of the frozen drink machines were broken, therefore I was not able to enjoy drinks that I would have wanted to try, the very few that were operational had a 30 to 45 minute wait. Some of the food ran out, for example after being in line 30 minutes for the chicken sandwich with cabbage/specialty sauce and a bag of chips, the attendant told us that they had ran out of food. The people that had already paid received half the meal, bare chicken without the cabbage/sauce and chips, yet they had paid the full price. People complaint but no Busch Garden rep did anything about it. The least they should have done was given us a complimentary drink or food from a different stand, yet we received nothing. This situation continued throughout the entire day. How does an amusement park run out of food and drinks during a huge festival such as this one.

I can't possibly say enough good things about our visit to Busch Gardens. The lines were short, the staff was friendly, the park is BEAUTIFUL, the food was good. Genuinely, everything you could ever possibly want in a theme park. We also did the Animal Ambassador Insider Tour and got to interact with flamingos. This was definitely the highlight of the day. I haven't stopped talking about it since we left. The staff was super friendly and made sure everyone the tour had an incredible experience. Our day at Busch gardens was absolutely perfect. My only complaint is that we didn't take our kids to enjoy it. :(

We went on a Thursday, I think during Spring Break so we expected crowds. It was no busier than Disney World, which also said they were "limiting people". My kids still loved it and were able to ride all the rides b/c we got there before the park opened and ran to Cheetah Hunt, did all those rides then went over to Sheikra and looped around to the beginning. The lines really weren't too bad, considering it was spring break. I think we waited 45 min. for the longest ride. But we did get to do every ride available. My only disappointment was the lines for food! This was beyond ridiculous, and I have never seen a theme park so poorly ran. I guess b/c they sell All day Dining passes they want to make sure the lines are LONG so people won't use them all day. But for the rest of us, I just wanted to refill my soda drink and it took 1 HOUR every time! So it was a waste of time to get them. If they don't have adequate food available or drink for everyone they really need to let people bring in there own food! We starved the whole time so it wasn't as pleasant of an experience and it could have been if they opened up some food places or let us bring our own food in! Also the refillable drinks weren't able to fill everywhere! We kept being told we could fill them at a location, so we waited in a long line just to be told that even though they have fountain drinks they couldn't give me one! THAT WAS SO pathetic. I am SOOOO GLAD I DID NOT purchase an ALL you can eat pass, I would have been SOOO MAD to wait 1.5-2 hrs just do go into the restaurants!! It was like that all day b/c people wanted to get their moneys worth out of their rip off passes.
