One of the top zoos in North America, Busch Gardens brings you face-to-face with more exotic and endangered animals than any destination outside of Africa. Prepare yourself for heart-pounding excitement with SheiKra - America's first dive coaster. Discover a colorful village nestled among towering trees, explore a 3-story play land of climbing nets and exploration tunnels, soar above the treetops on a zip line adventure or launch into the sky from inside a 35-foot (10 meter) waterfall. Then, come face-to-face with orangutans and test your strength in a tug of war with a Bengal tiger, all in Jungala - the only jungle in the world that plays with you. If you want a place for Roller Coasters....they have 9, with #10 being built. If you need a place for younger kids to ride on rides their size....they have a great selection just for young kids. I always associated Busch Gardens with animals and animal conservation. They have a few animals, ride the train to view what few they have. The eating areas were, as expected, expensive for what you get. Everything is expensive at theme parks, expect it. With all that, I recommend it more than Disney. It was far less crowded, that went a long way for me. Go online for tickets, look for Groupon, one, or both, is cheaper than at the gate. Busch has trading pins too. šŸ˜Š

This park is becoming like many other we've visited, including Six Flags and Carowinds, horribly managed and completely insensitive to it's guests. The park was understaffed and clearly went for the cheapest labor in every corner of the park we visited. The result is that the staff running the rides, the dining establishments, etc., have no desire to be there and no concern for the comfort or safety of the guests. The result is that the lines are 1 to 3 hours for nearly everything. Not necessarily because of the size of the crowd but because there is no effort on the part of the staff to make the lines efficient and flow quickly. They simply don't care. At every turn you could see management's effort to save every penny on cost they could.

After last year's disappointing visit to Busch Gardens Williamsburg to see Christmas lights and waiting in line to park, I was pleasantly surprised how beautiful the lights were. The fireworks show was also nice. I was very glad we went. The following day, we went during the day to go on rides and take photos during the day.
