We were originally schedule to go on a cruise and it was canceled while we were heading to Florida due to ship delay arriving to port, so we changed plans and went to stay with a friends. They are season pass holders, so we went to Busch Gardens with them on 11/14/21. They talked us into buying season passes since we visit them often. We purchased (1) Gold and (1) Silver IN PERSON at the park. We were told we get six guest passes, plus mine had free preferred parking. We THOUGHT this was a good deal but NOPE. So we returned to the park on Sunday 11/21/21 with my daughter, her boyfriend And granddaughter, we went to the ticket window to get 3 guest passes and was told there are only 2 available. The other 4 expired! I said how can the expire, I just bought my passes a week ago. So Then of course come a piece of paper with dates . Showing how many tickets you get and when. I said I was never shown this. She said it’s a disclaimer online . I said I bought mine a week ago in person!! I did it bring my laptop with me. She said they should have told you. I said , they didn’t. The ticket lady said I’m sorry but it’s online also. So again , I bought them IN-PERSON. Why aren’t these dates disclosed on the picture outside your window. Her response, they are online. So beware of shady sales people here. After I told others in line not to buy season tickets without your laptop to find the hidden scams , not on their poster. We were offered 1/2 off ticket and a few fast passes to 2 rides. Way to go losers, great customer service with a scam.

I hadn’t been to Busch Garden in years. Then the grandkids moved to Florida and suddenly I was a Park-Going-Grandma. Busch Gardens not only maintained but improved and expanded the park. It was magnificently decorated for Christmas. You simply must stay after dark ( which fortunately fir Grandma is now 7 pm) to admire them. They rival Disney. A fireworks show at 9 pm is coming soon. Now…how do you keep 5 grands fed all day and still have $ to pay for groceries that week? First, always brings small lightweight snacks. Theme parks say nothing if they are pre-packaged single-serving sized. The kids can stuff one pocket with chips and another with a package of cheese crackers. This staves off the whining. Don’t forget a small bottles of water which you refill at water fountains or restaurants saving yourself $3.89 per bottle! I find it wise to carry tasty granola bars, grapes and gum because they will quickly eat their food and look for more. Chik-A-Filet recently opened in the park itself. The ordering line is looong. Then you stand in another loooong line to actually get your food. The menu is very limited. The kids meal is the best value at $9 so order them for everybody. This process takes about an hour to get food even at an off time. ☹️ Chik-A-Filet, can’t your figure out a way to expedite the the process? These delays would never happen in your restaurants outside the park. I realize your app doesn’t work because your prices are inflated so add a theme park app…but I digress. The skating show is a must. Visit Santa—he is the most engaged Santa you will ever meet. Take your own photos and save $. Visit Busch Gardens, People! Give it a new 👀! Save money on food because you won’t on tickets. 😘

Cons: Outrageous parking price$30! Christmas on Ice show was rescheduled from what the internet stated from a 2:30 start time and they started it at 2:00!!When we arrived at the show from the other end of the park at 2:00 it had already started! I was discusted as the next show didn't start til 4:00!! When we were leaving it took a full hour to exit the park!!!! We will NEVER return!!!¡!!! Don't waste your money!!!
