Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon
Stop by The Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon, one of the most haunted buildings in Charleston. Since the late 1600s, the Exchange and Dungeon have existed in one form or another. My boyfriend and I did the Death and Depravity tour (adults only) a couple of days ago, Lance was our guide and he was great! He was very funny and extremely knowledgeable on the history of Charleston. We laughed the whole time, but it was also plenty spooky. We made the last stop of the night and I snapped a few fast pics of the graveyard before we all parted ways. Even though we didn't "see" anything of the paranormal effect we had a blast and talked about it the entire 40 miles back to our hotel. When we got back I looked through the 3 pics that I shot one after the other and something caught my eye. In the first pic near the light, there she is! The second two pics, she was gone. The only thing I have done to these pictures is crop them for zoom so that everyone isn't looking for it. I have never really been a believer in the paranormal, but now I am pretty sure I ended up getting a pic of the spirit of Sue Howard Hardy. Take this tour, it is awesome and I'll be going again!

We had the 8:00 pm tour on Saturday night and it had been raining hard all afternoon. I didn't want to cancel since it was our last night in Charleston and I'm glad we didn't. By the time 8:00 rolled around it was just a light drizzle, but everyone else on our tour canceled, so it was just my family, so essentially, we had our own private tour. Our tour guide was Valerie and she was full of energy and stories, despite the rain. She made sure she asked my 11 year year old daughter if the stories were too scary and altered them enough for her, but still included just the right amount of scare for my teenage son. Even my skeptical husband had a great time. I definitely recommend!

I was in Charleston for a few days in March for my sister's bachelorette trip, and the main thing I wanted to do was a ghost tour. I booked this mainly for thr adults only caveat, and boy did we have a great time! Lance was completely charming and engaging to begin with and had such a great sense of humor and a wealth of knowledge about each stop. I'd absolutely recommend his tour to anyone interested in the gritty history!
