We really enjoyed our experience with the guide Betsy. I was particularly impressed with the way she handled speaking about the history of enslaved people with dignity and respect. The tour itself was so fun! Biking Esplanade to Bayou St. John, City Park, and the Greenway were all awesome. E-bikes were zippy and comfortable. There were some tight spots through the French Quarter that may make an inexperienced cyclist a bit nervous but everyone in our group managed just fine.

Highly recommend this tour. A great way to see a broad swath of the city and a variety of neighborhoods and parks, and even St. Louis #3 Cemetery! Use of the electric bikes was really easy to get the hang of and they were so much fun to cruise the streets on. Our guide Mylin (sorry on spelling?) was great. The focus was on safe operation of the bikes with a detailed explanation before we got going and a constant concern for our group’s safety along the way. Mylin was super personable, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. They knew how to combine the fun of the bike ride with stops to hear about the history of this amazing city. I though Mylin’s stories about the origins and background to both Jackson Square and Congo Square were particularly outstanding. We just had a really great time!
