This world-famous pedestrian path is best experienced on foot, in a small group, with a knowledgeable local guide! This 2.5-hour tour travels the trail from Boston Common to Copp's Hill Terrace, providing guests a chance to see ALL SIXTEEN official landmarks on the Freedom Trail.

Our small-group walking tour delves deeply into the years 1760 to 1776, the tumultuous years leading into the American Revolution. We walk in the footsteps of Colonial Bostonians, all of whom grappled with the difficult—yet essential—question of loyalty or rebellion to crown and country.

This was a nice little walking tour around the city following the freedom trail and great for those not very familiar with the history. Also a great way to see the sights, ending in north end where you can eat a pizza after your tour. Our guide Drew was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic as well as funny. He’s a fast talker but very articulate and easy to understand. He really tries to give you as much as possible in the short time of the tour. I think we would be able to learn and see even more with him if people in our group would walk a little faster… unfortunately a lot depends on the rest of your group and we had several people show up late and lag behind. Drew made it as convenient as possible however, waiting for people while at the same time accommodating those who kept up. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Boston as long as you can walk for that long!

Everything was as advertised. Tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Tour starts in Boston Common and ends near The Constitution at the dock. You walk through “Little Italy” so can pick a location for dinner later.
