This French Quarter walking tour is conducted by city licensed guides and emphasize the history, architecture, and folklore of this fascinating city. Tour and store proceeds benefit Friends of the Cabildo, a non-profit volunteer group to provide support for the Louisiana State Museum. Purchasing a walking tour ticket also gets you admission to the 1850 House Museum, above the store, that shows what life was like in a typical Pontalba Apartment in the 1850s. Restroom is provided for walking tour guests as well.

We use the VOX Whisper System. Staff is responsible for cleaning each machine. The ear and mic buds are disposable. Units will only be used once per week to allow for rotating a clean unit to guests & guides. Guests can remove mask outside during the tour, inside state law requires a mask.

Such a wonderful experience! This is my first time in New Orleans and I'm so glad we decided to do this walking tour. We of course learned a great deal about New Orleans but also little interesting tidbits like where the words cocktail and dixie come from. John was extremely knowledgeable and I highly recommend this tour to anyone, including those who have been to New Orleans before (or to those who are from here!).

We had Kate as our tour guide. She was friendly, kind and very informative. She told us everything we needed to know to get our trip started. She answered all of our questions that we had about the city. She knew all the spots to take us to. We enjoyed this 2 hour walking tour very much and I HIGHLY recommend it.
