Snorkeling at Molokini was amazing. Surf was up & heavy the day we went so we weren't able to go to Turtle Town due to low visibility, but Molokini had PERFECT conditions and couldn't have been more amazing. The crew of the Mololo was awesome, from the Captain to the 2 crew members - all were super friendly, patient and had a great attitude while they performed their duties. As a first time snorkeler, my family & I all felt very welcome and safe the entire time. Would definitely go out with this crew again on a return trip to the island...without hesitation! We consider ourselves part of the Mololo ohana!

This excursion would have been perfect if it would have not overbooked and had more seats. We booked way in advance and when we showed up, there was barely enough room for my husband and I to sit, making it very uncomfortable when our 11 year old and 9 year old had to sit on our laps. If you could imagine about three hours of this on a coasting boat, it really detracted from the enjoyment factor. With that said, the food and beverages were not spectacular, but satisfying. The boat and equipment were quality and the locations beautiful! We saw cool fish, eels and of course turtles. The crew was the best part!! The captain was witty and fun and Craig was incredibly accommodating for our kids needs and to make it as fun as possible for us. Make for sure to be extra early to get good seats.

Obviously, a lot depends on weather, but we ended up with an excellent day of snorkeling and a lot of that is attributed to this company and crew. They got us to the crater right away, emphasized safety most of all (apparently the day before us they weren't able to allow the passengers to snorkel because of unsafe winds). They knew it was a possibility today, but it worked out for us. Then they took us to Turtle town and Ryan, the "turtle whisperer" knew right where to find them, and it was incredible. They were swimming right by us. They gave us plenty of time at both locations. Deli lunch was good. But here's the biggest serendipity of all. The winds were high coming back to harbor and I guess this is a regular thing. They told us if you are sitting up front, you will get wet and gave plenty of warning, time, and opportunity for them to take anything you didn't want to get wet, or even move seats if you didn't want to get wet. We stayed up front and it was a blast! Seriously thought we were on those water rides you pay money for. Jensen was watching out for our safety but also so entertaining as he somehow stayed balanced and funny even throughout the biggest waves. He accommodated some kids that were hearing those of us up front have so much fun, by letting them sit on the floor out by us. People had their snorkeling masks on because we were getting THAT WET and the salt was in our eyes. But we lucked out that we were experiencing the waves, but not the cross winds that the crew said usually makes it very cold. The last 15 minutes or so we knew what he was talking about. It really was a memorable experience and we are so glad we did it. Also one of the most affordable tours we've done while here too. Thank you.
