Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 300 lbs (136 kg or 21 stone) will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.
The total combined passenger weight (including pilot) cannot exceed 1240lbs (563kg)
There is a maximum capacity of seven (7) people per helicopter, plus your pilot.

What To Expect

Lake Mead National Recreation Area

Experience the beauty of the Grand Canyon from the air and ground on this helicopter tour from Las Vegas. After being picked up from your hotel approx 90 minutes prior to the flight time listed, you'll be driven to the heliport where you’ll board your air-conditioned Eco-Star helicopter. On your way to the Grand Canyon’s West Rim, soar over Lake Las Vegas and Lake Mead.

Hoover Dam

As you fly over the Hoover Dam, you'll be left in awe at this particularly spectacular sight from the air, curved between the rock canyon walls. Marvel at this architectural wonder and enjoy the amazing views of the recently built bypass bridge. During your flight, you can listen to a recorded commentary about the Grand Canyon and its surrounds via headphones.

Grand Canyon West

As you reach the Grand Canyon and fly deeper and further into the canyon than any other helicopter tour, land on a private bluff overlooking the flowing Colorado River. From this incredible perch over 3,000 feet below the canyon rim, toast to your experience with a glass of Champagne and a light snack. While you celebrate and relax under an authentic Native American ramada shelter, your pilot will be happy to answer any questions you have about the canyon or your helicopter flight.

The Strip

Back in the helicopter, enjoy another 45-minute flight back to Las Vegas, this time flying over the world famous Strip. When you land, your transportation will be waiting to whisk you back to your hotel. Please note: Per FAA regulations, all passengers 18 years and older will be required to show photo ID such as a driver's license or passport at the time of check-in.

Our chauffeur picked us up at hotel lobby and then we went to the airport to immediately start our experience. When we took off to the Grand Canyon we got a little bit of turbulence due to strong winds, flying over the Hoover Dam and the mountains. I understand that in small airplanes you witness all kind of turbulence and cold air from the outside, but the plane could be better in order not to shake many times. We landed at the West part of the Canyon, already blown with the vistas and scenic views, but it felt like more of a shuttle going from point A to point B and C in 2h30. You get to see a replica of an old and western ranch town which felt abandoned at 8am; on the other part of the Canyon, you can enjoy a skywalk experience where you can walk on strong glass and admire the depth of the mountains, but it was extremely overpriced for the short of time of this activity; in the end, you can hike about 10mins and then return to the meeting point. Overall, you have buses to take from all over these 3 points instead of being a more immerse activity of hiking, trekking, skydiving or anything else that doesn't rip you off. Nevertheless, the views are breathtaking and you feel at the heart of the world. The Grand Canyon packs unique and unforgettable memories to be recorded, despite the price you pay in Maverick Tours.

We do offer a variety of tours at different price levels to accommodate more or less ground time as well as different views of the canyon; perhaps a different tour would have better suited your group. Absolutely loved this. My tour got cancelled due to low numbers, but the office staff really went out of the way to help me out. Very happy in the end. Amazing trip with spectacular scenery. Our Captain, Miguel, was very good. Pick up and drop off worked superbly. A very professional and well-run organisation. You are in great hands with Maverick. I highly recommend them to all coming to Vegas.

Wow wow wow! What an experience. Kaci our pilot was fabulous. Landed in the canyon itself and had a glass of champagne which made it extra special. Once in a lifetime trip and so worth the money.
