Grand Knik Helicopter Tour - 2 hours 3 landings - ANCHORAGE AREA

Overview
Our signature flightseeing and glacier landing tour, includes 30 mins of helicopter flight seeing and 30 mins landed at 3 unique Glacier inclusive areas including on the glacier itself. This tour includes a high alpine landing where you will have 30 mins to see the grand size of the 5 mile wide and 29 mile long Knik Glacier with a birds eye view. Your second landing takes you to a massive 100 foot ice wall where form a safe distance you may even be able to see the massive ice calve . After 30 minutes safely exploring you are then relocated to the glacier landing right in the middle of Knik Glacier, where you can get out of the helicopter and spend about 30 minutes exploring ice thousands of years old with your pilot/guide. See the azure blue melt pools (summer), crevasses and the bizarre ice formations created by water, wind and the sun. During your flight seeing, keep your eyes open for the area wildlife to include Moose, Mountain Goats, Dall Sheep, Bears and even wolf on occasion!

Shane was an amazing pilot and tour guide! Super informative tour with beautiful views. In addition to glaciers we saw a ton of wildlife including mountain goats, moose and multiple bears. It was a truly unreal, unique experience. This tour was the highlight of our Alaska trip and recommend to anyone traveling here to spend the money and experience this! Memories to last a lifetime!

The trip is mentioned for 3 landing but only 1 landing on glacier and other two are on nearby mountains. The photo taken by pilot was pathetic so better not to go for photo package, instead bring your own camera, don’t waste your money.

Good Afternoon, We’re sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your experience, when making reservations the locations are clearly stated on where you’ll be landing which 1 glacier and 2 remote landings, as per the photos our pilots try their best to multi task with taking photos of all the guests as well as giving the best tour they possibly can and they are by not professionals. We do hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip to Alaska.
