I am so glad that I went on the Atlanta Food Walks tour! I really learned a lot about the history of the city and its food. I loved that we could walk to each location and really looked forward to each tasting as we explored Atlanta. Our tour guide was very passionate about all aspects of the tour: the food, history, scenery, art, relationships they've built with the restaurants, etc. We got to meet many of the owners and chefs of each location. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone living in or visiting Atlanta.

I went on this tour with a friend. Even though I've lived in Atlanta for nearly a decade, I learned so much about different neighborhoods and tried wonderful food. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the city, it's history, and of course it's food! the food portions were generous, but the walking made us feel a little less guilty and kept us from having a "food coma!" I'd definitely recommend this tour wether your visiting or from here and want to try something new!

This tour is a "Must Do" in downtown Atlanta! Akila, the owner and tour guide, is very knowledgeable and passionate about southern food and history. We stopped at 7 food establishments and tasted 15 different food items. Not only was there an amazing amount of southern food but we also learned the history and inspiration behind our tastings. The tasting locations are a perfect combination of food and beverages. It is also nice to have some comfortable seated tastings at the majority of the locations. There are many opportunities to use the restrooms at stops along the way. Between eating delectable food and sipping refreshing beverages, we learned about interesting history, diverse culture and unique architecture. Akila is a wealth of knowledge and eager to to share her love and passion for food and Atlanta with her guests. I own a walking food tour company in Marietta and participate in food tours often when I travel and would highly recommend this food tour. It is a great way to spend 3.5 hours, you will not regret it!
