We had a wonderful guide named Don! I would highly recommend going on this raft experience. His expertise made us feel comfortable which helped calm nerves and resulted in a fantastic float down the river!

We had a wonderful six-hour raft trip on the Lower Animus River with our guide Vinny. He told us about the Durango area, past and present, and about the plants and animals we passed by. We asked him to explain how he reads and navigates the rapids, and he showed us as we went along. He even “surfed” the boat for us, holding it in place on one of the rapids. The ride was fun, not too scary, and lots of beautiful scenery.
