The boat has a lower enclosed deck, a middle deck which is a shaded but otherwise open are, and an open air upper deck with bench seating.
A fully stocked bar with alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and a snack bar with light fare such as hot dogs & fresh popped popcorn is available on the lower main deck at your own expense.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed on board the boat
There is plenty of seating on the boat, both inside and on the upper deck, which consists mainly of bench-style seating; the main lower deck has chairs; seating is on a first-come first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early if you’d like to sit in a particular area of the boat

This is a very nice way to enjoy the Hudson river, the two hour cruise is just the right length of time and the ship is very clean and comfortable. The narration is interesting and helpful. The only minor problem was that some of the places of interest had been passed by already when the narrator pointed them out. Being a lifetime local and familiar with the river I noticed this however someone new to the area probably would not. This trip was one of several I have take on the Rip Van Winkle and My rating would be A-Plus.

Staff was very helpful and kind. The cruise was Fun and informative. The only two drawbacks were: We sat in the rear on the main deck and it was very difficult to hear the narrative. I think it may have been the same upstairs also. The only place I saw speakers was inside on the main deck. Couldn't go upstairs because I am disabled so I am not 100% sure of the upstauirs. The other bad point was the constant smell of diesel fuel burning from the engins.

Well narrated trip along the Hudson describing the historical importance of the river. Also mentioned are stories about the mansions along the river. Friendly staff, snack bar, clean rest rooms make for an enjoyable trip.
