The walking tour is amazing. You go walking most of the day and then take the cable with your guide. The group is small, going at a slow pace and stopping for coffee and lunch. John is an amazing guide, he shares historical facts in a funny and entertaining way.

My husband and I attempted to participate in this tour. But this was false advertisement. At the beginning of the tour, the tour guide informed us this was strictly a 5.5 half hour walking tour, there were no cable cars included. We’d be ending the tour @ the cable car turnaround. Walking tour w/cable car to me means you’d be simultaneously be riding the cable car and walking. The tour guide Eric was very informative during the first hour of the tour we did experience. But we were not physically up to walking for 5:50 hours. We expected to be riding on the cable cars though out the tour.

I'm sorry you felt the need to leave a negative review, even after providing you with a refund and taking the first 2 hours of our tour with Eric. This is definitely a walking tour with a few segments on the streetcar and/or subway and finishing with a cable car ride. There is no way for this tour to be done with a cable car simultaneously as I'm sure you discovered while in the city. None the less, I appreciate your feedback and will try to make the description clearer so that people booking in the future will be expecting to walk the majority of the time.
