We had an incredible time. John was a thoughtful and helpful guide. He was able to help keep everyone in the group entertained, informed and safe. His knowledge of the area was ideal and was able to navigate us to an area with high visibility where we were able to see turtles, fish, etc. Will definitely use Maui Kayaks again on our next trip.

Came on a less favorable day, water was less calm and clarity likely affected. John was honest and upfront. He is very knowledgeable and we were confident that we were in good hands. He also wanted to make sure we were comfy going out esp since we had our 5 yo with us. Water did calm down in quite a bit and the group decided to go out on the water. Went to several snorkel spots hoping we’d get lucky. Unfortunately it just wasn't our day, John could have suggested we just jump in while we were there but he did have safety concerns and we do appreciate him putting it first. Inspite of this , we still had a good time, got a good arm workout. And it was a beautiful day for kayaking soaking up and sun and the scenery. Would definitely plan to come back!!

We were a group of 6 girls with tour guide John who was great! He made sure we were always comfortable and looked out for us at all times. He also looked ahead for marine life and pointed out unique animals. He went above and beyond when one of our girls got seasick and made sure she was safe and on shore!
