Overview

We carry a maximum of 6 passengers so we can offer a more intimate manta ray snorkel experience than the larger "cattle boats" in Kona.

In addition to delivering a more private experience, our small group size allows for a better manta ray show. Your swim guide will tow your party to the most active areas of the snorkel site, as you hold onto a light board and enjoy the show. Larger groups on bigger boats are often required to stay next to the boat, and can't chase the manta ray action as we do. By locating the most active areas of the snorkel site, you'll have a higher chance of seeing more manta rays.

If you book all 6 seats on any trip, you will have your own private charter.

Great experience. Saw 5-6 HUGE manta rays. One of them gave me a belly rub. Jacob was great. My kid couldn’t swim but he took care of him in the water. When the kids got scared of the rays after a few of them swam close, Jacob took them back to the boat allowing me to continue in peace.

We had an amazing trip with Eric (Guide) and Jason (Captain). Eric was very knowledgeable and it was awesome to see manta rays so close in the water. It was great to have the boat and trip just for our small group.

AMAZING experience! Better than we even expected :) this is so much better with a small group, so I like that this group only has 6 people per boat. Once we got into he water, there were 13 Manta Rays!! It was incredible. They came up about an inch from our faces - it was incredible! Additionally, a 1300-lb Monk Seal came up and saw around us for about 15 minutes. She is one of only 14 along the Hawai'i coast here. Amazing. We want to come back with our kids and do this again! Jake & Jeff were great hosts and they made all the difference.
