Very friendly, knowledgeable, and on time! Tom was amazing and was so gracious. His knowledge of the history of the island was truly amazing! We had an amazing day! The price was excellent as well. If we took an Uber from Boston and then the ferry by ourselves it would have cost about the same price...and that would not have included the private tour. This trip is an amazing bargain!!

Thank you for taking the time to write this EXCELLENT 5 Star Review! Tom certainly is an amazing tour guide and his knowledge of the island is matched by few. We believe our trip is very fairly priced. There is not a more convenient, better priced option (including the perks) to get to Martha's Vineyard roundtrip from Boston. I am glad that you and your wallet enjoyed your day with us! Thank you again! Sincerely, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.

The tour involves lots of driving only. You are driven 2.5 hours to the ferry. You cross the ferry, another driver picks you up drives you around for 3 hours with lots of history. You get to get out twice to tour the lighthouse That’s about it. Than you are dropped off at the ferry site where you have time for lunch and get back to the other side where your tour operator picks you up and more driving. Basically you spent most of your time in the van. However the tour operators and the driver s were excellent. The service was wonderful.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. There are a few things that you failed to disclose, let me explain to ensure our potential guests get an accurate description of their day. 1. We pickup early to ensure we get to the ferry on a timely basis. 2. The drive to get to the ferry is approximately 75 miles and is not a 2.5 hour drive. We usually (based upon timing) will do some touring of the beautiful Cape Cod town of Falmouth on the way to the ferry and even make a stop at a lighthouse, which our guests usually love and appreciate. 3. You have 5.5 to 6 hours on the island based upon the ferry we are using that particular day. 4. Within the 5.5 to 6 hours on the island we offer an optional 3 hour narrated bus tour of the island. Key word being OPTIONAL. If you are someone that doesn't want to spend time in a vehicle then my suggestion would be not to take the island tour. Problem with that being the island is 100 square miles and you'd never be able to see all of it's beauty and learn about it's history without taking the tour. You would then miss out on the highlight of the majority of our guests day trip. What this review failed to mention, is you are out of the vehicle for an hour of the 3 hours exploring on your own during the tour. Thank you for letting our future guests know how wonderful our guides are. 5. After the tour you have approximately 2.5 hours of free time for lunch and whatever else you choose to do. Unless you have a very long lunch it is usually plenty of free time. 6. Once you take the return ferry we do need to drive you back to Boston as that is a necessary part of the journey. 7. All in all, to get to Martha's Vineyard from Boston involves some travel. We try to make it enjoyable for our guests and judging by all of our positive 4 and mostly 5 star reviews, we do a great job of it.. I appreciate your input, though perhaps your day would have been more enjoyable if you opted not to take the island tour as some do. There are many wonderful ways to spend your time on the island if you choose not to take the tour. Either way New England Trips would love to have any future guests join us on Boston's ORIGINAL Martha's Vineyard Day Trip! Kind Regards, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.
