Watch the majestic and colorful sunrise from atop the 10,023ft elevation Haleakala volcano, admiring the expansive moon like craters inside the volcanic summit. I love the trip I wish I could remember the woman who runs the office and drives the van because I loved her I wanted to say her name is Lena but it probably isn’t I also want to give a shout out to Billy he’s so cute and made everybody feel really special especially me because I was scared of the speed on the way down and he put me up front with him so the whole team is amazing I can’t say enough I will do it again five stars 20 stars !!!

Great experience, would recommend - tour company was good. For sunrise tour, met at company's office / lot for a 3:15am departure, about an hour total from there to the top of the mountain - not bad. Driver was safe and clearly had done that drive at night several times. Arrived early for sunrise to see the dawn colors, stayed around a bit after, then drove down a bit to start the bike ride. No injuries during bike, had one guide for about 8 bikers, stopped at times for photos and to make sure group stayed together, felt safe, all stayed around same pace as a group, nobody off on their own. Had breakfast in village briefly before continuing with end of bike ride. Very pleased with the logistics and individuals from the company. Parking lot is a bit hard to find in the dark - next to a general store and a Crossfit, you will likely see other cars pulling in and waiting for the van as well. Some confusion when we originally read the company gets you at your hotel, rather than drive to the central location, but ultimately all worked out well. Very cold / windy at top of mountain - probably 30 degrees but heavy wind in addition, brought coats and blankets; would also recommend gloves.
