Key West lies at the end of the chain of islands known as the Florida Keys and is the southernmost city in the continental United States.

What To Expect

Key West

Pick up: Depending on your location this will range from 6 to 7:30 AM. Make sure you are OUTSIDE of your hotel/pick-up location 5-10 minutes prior to the time stated. Get comfortable while you travel to the Keys and across the Overseas Highway in our well-maintained coach bus with the tour guide speaking about Key West's rich history and culture. Arrive in Key West around 11:30 AM. Explore and experience Key West for 6 hours. See the town for yourself by walking through the streets. Everything is within walking distance! We give you a map of the city so you can handle your way around. Leave Key West around 5:30 PM and get back to Miami around 9:30 - 10:45 PM (depending on the traffic and the drop-off location).

Seven Mile Bridge

There are two bridges in this location. The modern bridge is open to vehicular traffic; the older one only to pedestrians and cyclists. The older bridge, originally known as the Knights Key-Pigeon Key-Moser Channel-Pacet Channel Bridge, was constructed from 1909 to 1912 under the direction of Henry Flagler and Clarence S. Coe as part of the Florida East Coast Railway's Key West Extension, also known as the Overseas Railroad.

Southernmost Point

Key West is famous for being the southernmost city in the continental United States. When you visit, it's essential that you make it to the southernmost point on the island, found at the intersection of Whitehead Street and South Street.

US 1 Mile Marker 0

An interesting landmark for US highways. Mile marker zero notes the start of the highway for the US.1. The US.1 stretches from Key West, Florida, more than 2,000 miles to Fort Kent, Maine, not far from the United States-Canada border. The highway connects several major cities along the eastern seaboard such as Boston, Washington, D.C., and Portland, Maine. It’s also commonly referred to as the Overseas Highway in Florida, as it stretches out across the Florida Keys.

This was a long day that start at 6 am. I took the trip for the journey rather than the destination. A very enjoyable journey with interesting sites. The time that you are give to spend in Key west is too long if you are not doing any additional escursions here. There is a free bus that takes you around Key West and you can hop on and off. however you are not told about this as they want you to buy the same thing from them. You can catch the bus across the road from were the coach drops you off

I purchased this day trip option and it was quite okay. The bus picks yo my up on time outside your choice hotel. The ride is really just about 31/2 hours with a 20 minute stop on the way, and quicker on the way back. The ride was good and comfortable however this bus did not have WIFi/outlets to charge phones which was a bummer. The scenery is good and once you get to Key West you have 6 hours to see the island. I’d suggest having some activities lined up to do there. We walked a lot around the island and went to Higgs beach which unfortunately does not smell good! Also took a pic at the southernmost point after waiting in line a bit but it okay. Overall good trip.

They overcharged me for a 1 day trip. I only needed a one way ride from the airport to Key West and they charged me $85.00. As I spoke to the passengers, they told me they paid $65.00 for a round trip that included discounted activities at Key West and drinks on the way back home. I then checked the website and saw they advertised $85.00 for a roundtrip with discounted rates for excursions and free drinks on the ride back. These were all benefits I was not able to enjoy since I did not signup for a roundtrip yet I was charged for. I emailed the office about the overcharge afterwards and they were not willing to adjust the price within reason. On the bright side, the tour guide, Peter, was amazing. He was very kind and very knowledgeable as well as multilingual. If it weren’t for all of the above, I’d give this a 5 star rating because Peter and the driver did an amazing job. Sign-up if you want a day trip and tour to Key West but not recommended if you need a one way transport from the airport to Key West.
