How to use: Your pass is available for immediate use. Your voucher contains a unique barcode for use on your mobile phone as your ticket. Attractions will scan the code and you’ll be in!
• This pass is valid for the amount of consecutive calendar days you've purchased and ends on midnight on the last calendar day
• The pass is activated the first time you use it
• If the pass is used to make a reservation online or over the phone your card will not be activated until you arrive on the date of the reservation. All reservations must be made for a day in which the pass is still valid

We got this pass after reading several reviews of all the different passes available. We liked having the flex option and the availability of the bus tour and One World Trade (this alone was the reason we chose this pass). You really are not skipping any lines. You should know that several of the attractions have a timed entry. You take your pass, wait in line to get your ticket with a time. This applied to Statue of Liberty, One World Trade, 9/11 and Top of the Rock. If you are going in the height of the summer and you want to wait in some long lines this is the way to go. It would be great if you could enter your sightseeing pass number into the website for each attraction so you could get your timed ticket. We found they did let people get their tickets for another day/time. Had I know this in advance, we probably would have done that. When sightseeing in such a big city, that is not always convenient. The reason for the 3 stars was because when we were waiting in line for Top of the Rock and finally got up to scan our passes, there was an issue with the Sightseeing Pass system. The girl at the register said there was an issue in getting the credit needed from Sightseeing Pass to validate our tickets. There were SEVERAL of us who had this issue and I can't even imagine how many they had after us. We waited about 30 mins for some kind of resolution and nothing. Thank goodness for the employees at Top of The Rock who gave us a resolution so we could enjoy the top.

We bought the pass 6 months in advance which gave us a nice discount on the price. At that time not sure what attractions to do, this is our list we did : Rockefeller - top of the rock, One world (no waiting line at all), guggenheim, Entrepid space museum, National museum of history and RIB high speed harbour tour. We loved every attraction! We are a family of four (2 adults and 2 teenagers) and everybody got to choose. Separately we bought tickets for coney island - that's the one thing you have to be carefully about and always read the litte or extra lines. The extreme thrill attractions for coney island where not included in the sightseeiing pass. Still they mention the value for these tickets equals 69 usd but this is the price for ALL attractions in coney island - so this is kind of misleading! Besides this we were glad we bought the pass - it worked really well with the app on the phone.

We did the 7 day pass, and we were able to do so many attractions in NYC with it! We were using it all the time, and we did so many tours that we wouldn’t have done without it. Highly recommend for anybody planning a trip to NY so you can do everything you want for a good price!
