It was just good cruise and not a wow thing to do. Probably you should remove Whale watching if there aren't any whales around and just keep it simple with Dolphin. Its kind of misleading. Also when i booked the ticket using viator.com the instruction for the direction to newport landing say it as direction to "our parking garage". Also doesnt mention about the parking fee. So for any tourist visiting, purchasing the ticket from viator, they are not aware about additional fee like parking. Or the direction instruction is misleading. Its additional $20 for parking fee.

Don't forget to take some Dramamine! There are few things worse than feeling sea sick! I had never been without my sea legs before so it took me by suprise, however the crew were so nice about it, they suggesed the best place on the boat so I could get some relief. On our trip there was a photographer who offered his beautifully taken captures of the whales and dolphins we saw but that I was unable to snap while ill. There was also Marine Biologists aboard, she gave my one and three year olds a quick lesson about the Grey Whales. It was a beautiful day, and we did see two adult whales and one baby whale, but the dolphins were much more exciting to watch. Don't forget a jacket even on warm days, it is quite chilly onbord.

We saw a pod of about 250 dolphins as well as many sea lions and a few seals. Crew was very friendly, did the tour with my 7 year old son and 4 year old daughter and they had a great time. Definitely would recommend this trip
