We went not expecting the lights as they were forecasted as not being too bright up at the Chena Hot Springs. However, they ended up being out and amazingly beautiful. The hot springs was a experience I will never forget. Reydene was awesome, and gave us one of our biggest dreams. We stayed until about 1:30am and got to get some amazing shots.

Do to the snowstorm, we miss the opportunity to see the Northern Lights. But the hot springs was nice. I specially like the ice sculpture which has a bar inside. Our tour guide was excellent, Alexas was very knowledgeable of Alaska and her personality keep the group motivated.

One of the best experience I’ve ever had in my life and I cannot recommend it enough! Our tour guide Raydene is kind, sweet and wonderful. She’s very knowledgeable and also a great van driver. We traveled in early February when the roads were covered in ice but we felt safe. She also made sure everyone in our tour had warm mittens, and she prepared hand warmers and foot warmers for us. She even gave me her own mittens when I got out of the van to take some photos! At Chena Hot Springs she even volunteered to watch my son while I got out to the hot springs and viewed the aurora. She made sure you see the aurora and will go the extra miles for you to be able to see it and take good photos of it. She also helped to take photos for me. She’s one of the best person I’ve met in Fairbanks and I felt fortunate to have her as my tour guide, twice, in 2 different tours!
