Guide was on time, knowledgeable and outgoing. Others on trip were pleasant as well. Guide drove slowly and safely. The van got a little too warm for us. But two women from Los Angeles werenā€™t complaining at all. It was heavily overcast whenwegot to tho top of Murphyā€™s Dome. But it cleared some after we sat there for a couple of hours. We did see a small bit of northern lights. And even that lasted for only a couple of minutes. However, on our return, we saw a cow moose and her calf abut 50 feet off the road. The moose simply stood there while we observed for several minutes. They finally wandered off into the woods.

Hello from North Pole, thank you for the review. Unfortunately, the weather is not something we can predict here in Alaska and this risk is always there on any of our Northern Lights tours. Of course we don't like this as well and are bummed when our guests don't see the lights. The Guides are trying their best to make it as comfortable in the vans as possible for everyone, which is of course difficult if not everyone speaks up. We are glad that you at least saw a moose, which is not a regular occurrence around here. Sending Love from Alaska, Sylvia

Dress warmly if you go in late Fall or Winter. We got to see a little of the lights, really just a brightening of the clouds. The day of the tour was very overcast and I was afraid we wouldn't see anything, and it was also just a few days after the full moon. On our drive out there was a break in the clouds above us ad the stars we could see were beautiful. We could see a brightening of the clouds where you could see the lights trying to come through. Even not seeing the lights our tour guide was great and shared loads of local knowledge with us.

Dear Kane, thank you for leaving us such an amazing review. We really appreciate it and are glad that you had a great time, even without really seeing the Northern Lights. Kind regards, Sylvia

Did the tour last night. Had a great vantage point to see the northern lights. The lights appeared then went away several times. Had the super moon which illuminated the trees making the pictures better. The guide turned on the van several times to warm up the inside of the van. The bad part is when he turned on the van the lights came on and he could not turn them off. The description says we would get snack and beverage. We did not get any even when the guide was eating.

Hello from North Pole, thank you so much for leaving us such a great review. We apologize that you were not offered any Snacks or Beverages. This is not the norm and was probably a mistake from someone at this night. We are still glad that you got to see the Northern Lights, kind regards, Sylvia
