This 2+hour tour is led by local, licensed NYC tour guide, Greg Marro, with Italian family roots in the neighborhood since 1884. St. Anthony of Padua

St Anthony of Padua is the first church built in the Americas for Italian Catholics. We will see the church's Romanesque interior complete with magnificent marble altar and Corinthian columns.

Father Demo Square

This quaint square's vista of the church's bell tower juxtaposed with the fountain, gives tourists a look into Italian American of this neighborhood.

Our Lady of Pompeii

See this gorgeous Italianate 1892 Church, the only NYC Roman Catholic Church with weekly Sunday Mass in four languages: English, Italian, Portugese and Tagalog/Phillipino.

The tour was fun with delicious food, and Greg dealt brilliantly with Mother Nature’s thunderstorm throughout our tour. We got lots of delicious Italian food with neighborhood and historic facts sprinkled in.

Greg was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Walking tour in the pouring rain in NYC with 7 teens could have been a recipe for disaster but the food, the information and the charisma from Greg was all-star!!! Cannot recommend this tour enough.
