What To Expect

Oak Alley Plantation

Once arriving at the tour site travelers we spend approximately two hours at the plantation. Witch will include a 30 minute guided tour of the mansion. Travelers will also will spend time on a self guided tour of the grounds viewing slave cabins, overseers quarters, and an on site Blacksmith shop. If you use tour time wisely you may have time for a quick lunch at the restaurant or a quick snack from the gift shop

Came to New Orleans for our company Convention. I got here a few days early, I took the Oak Alley Plantation Tour, our guide/driver Brian did a great job, gave us some great history, facts etc.. I recommend Crescent City Tours.

A history lesson on the way and at the plantation, Brian our tour guide has a wealth of knowledge and a fantastic sense of humour. His knowledge of the region and history is great. I would recommend anyone thats visiting the region to go on a tour with Brian!! Thanks again mate and don't forget, No Wukkas Mate.

It's pretty but a short visit. Only 4 rooms to see in the house. The gardens are small. The slave barracks could be presented more vividly. A little expensive after all. The money probably goes mainly to the driver, very nice, it's still an hour's drive from New Orleans.
