There are two types of carriage rides at Central Park. The ones on the outside edge are just a short little version. The ones down in the park (make reservations for a group like we did) will give you a much broader view of the park. The driver was friendly and had great information about the park and NY in general. We had time for picture stops and feeding carrots to the horse.

This was a beautiful way to see Central Park. Robbie and Josephine were fabulous! Robbie gave us all the inside info with lots of stories to tell. The horse and carriage were the nicest we saw the whole trip. Definitely recommend this company.

There are lots of people offering carriage rides of the park & we picked this one based on their T/A reviews. The drivers were all very smartly dressed - loved the top hat - and that effort to look smart made the ride feel more special. The driver we had (so sorry I can't remember his name) was very knowledgeable & happy to answer questions & pointed out landmarks & various film locations including a couple he had been in! The horses are obviously well cared for - our horse was thirsty & he just stopped for a drink at a fountain in the middle of the ride. The driver was happy to wait whilst we took photos at the stopping locations & took plenty for us. I would recommend this trip for couples or families. It is an excellent way to cover lots of ground in Central Park & very good value.
