Honestly we weren’t sure about going on an all-day tour, but we are SO glad that we did! Throughout the day we kept wishing we had done it on our first day so we would’ve known where else to go while we were there! Patrick was an awesome tour guide, even though it was just him and me and my husband, it was never awkward (which we were worried about haha). He knew so many interesting facts and stories, and really made the day incredible. Plus he took pictures for us, which was so much better than our usual selfies! If you’re scrolling through Viator trying to decide which tour to pick (like we were) just stop and choose this one! We saw every single thing on our list, and so many others too. Besides that, we had incredible food and treats, and found the best souvenirs for our kids at home. We loved this tour!

If you want to explore the island through the eyes and experiences of a local, this is the way to go! Patrick really knew his way around the island. We went with an open mind and a few “bucket list” activities and he made it work! He even indulged us with our requested stops to local malasadas without the long lines. The tour van was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We wouldn’t have wanted our trip any other way! Our tour with Na Ala Hele really made our trip worthwhile. We didn’t realize we avoided the tourist crowd until we went around on our own. If you’re on the fence, this is your sign to go for it! Super worth it.

My husband and I booked a private tour with Patrick last April. He was a safe driver, courteous and a knowledgeable tour guide. It was refreshing to see and hear from a local what Oahu is all about apart from the busy shopping sites and the much visited Waikiki beachfront. The pace of the tour was just right. We will definitely recommend him to our other friends should they happen to swing by Oahu in the future.
