What To Expect

Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center

Stop off at the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center to check out the exhibits and gift shop for souvenirs. If you're lucky, you'll be able to see Mojave Max, the Desert Tortoise!

Calico Hills

The kaleidoscopic colors of Calico Hills are next. Watch the hillsides for a display of pinks, oranges and reds that change throughout the day. Your expert guide can also point out the natural tanks that store water in the hills, along with ancient plants and animals preserved in the layers of ancient dunes.

Willow Spring

Stop by Willow Springs after your off-roading adventure to see the roasting pit and pictographs from the past. Your guide will talk about the native history of the area and can take some photos!

It was a private tour, just my husband & I. The tour guide picked us up at hotel and was there waiting for us. He was knowledgeable and personable. We saw much more with explanations than what we would have seen with no explanation. The off road ride up to the peak was extremely bumpy and rough but well worth it. My husband and are 70 and 67 years old and we weathered it well. However, if you have back problems, it may not be for you.

Excellent well worth the money it was and we also got picked up from our hotel .The off roading was brilliant and we had a right giggle with the guide Scott. Fantastic tour

We received a phone call the day before our tour confirming our attendance, pick up location and time. We were told to be there 10minutes prior to pick up time which was very early in the morning. We were all excited as we did the tour 6 years ago and it was my "birthday present." The pick up location was a little uncomfortable because it was at an adjacent hotel, surrounded by construction, in the parking garage by a back alley. We ended up having to wait more than 30 minutes because the driver changed the pickup order that morning. We were never informed. I found out because I ended up calling Pink Jeep to find out what happened while we waiting down a pack alley area. When the driver arrived he proceeded to make light of being late, embarrassed us when we got on the bus, and then proceeded to talk the entire ride to Red Rock about the drug problems in Las Vegas and other political issues. Not exactly fun holiday conversations. Once we got to Red Rock the tour guide was awesome. It did end up being a shorter trek than the last time we came even though it was the same tour. Not sure why?
