So grateful to Oscar, owner of Bryce Canyon Scenic Tours & Shuttle, for helping us out after our SUV died just as we got to Bryce Canyon NP. He came highly recommended by the mechanic (that we were also fortunate to get to before they closed). Oscar promptly came right after we called, helped us transfer all of our bags from our car to his, and drove us 10 miles to the hotel we had reservations at, even stopping at the only restaurant that was open so that we could pick up some dinner to take with us since we would be "stranded" for the rest of the night. The next morning he came back to get us from our hotel, and drove us to get our truck (which thankfully was quickly fixed). Unfortunately, we weren't able to stay long enough in Bryce to take advantage of hiring Oscar as a tour guide, although he was generous in sharing some of his vast knowledge of the geology of the area, and favorite locations and hikes in the park while he drove us to get our car. I highly recommend Oscar and this company to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, professional, local tour guide (or even just a ride to your hotel ;-)

Mabry was quite knowledgeable and provided a good tour. It was a cold day in late November, which put the damper on extended hikes. Sunset Point is one of the prettiest sites I have seen in my life. I want to go back and hike the area someday. Mabry recommend a nice short hike for use outside the pay area of the park.

We booked a private tour with lovely Oscar, just because he looks like a movie star :-) He and his brothers run this locally owned and operated Scenic Tours and Shuttle Service. He took us to really nice spots we wouldn't have found without him. He taught us a lot about the geology, flora & fauna of the region and gave us tips for our next hikes. We especially enjoyed his fun company! Plus he took nice pictures of us! Sorry for rating you so late bud, life came up! :-) We miss hiking the Hoodoos and will hopefully be back to see you and your lovely brother Mabry again. Take care guys!
