Seattle Neighborhoods 101 Tour: great for building a mental map of the city!

Overview
Each neighborhood in Seattle has a unique feel, architectural style and social scene. Let’s take a ride and explore some of them! We will check out Capitol Hill, center of nightlife, meander through the Volunteer Park neighborhood to see some of Seattle’s beautiful old Victorian-style homes, then through the Central District to head to the shores of Lake Washington to see mid-century modern delights on our way to Columbia City, Beacon Hill, and Georgetown. There are spectacular views all through this drive! If you’re a new resident of Seattle, or considering moving here, this is a great tour for you to start building a mental map of the feel of the city, guided by a resident of 30 years. If you would like to visit different neighborhoods, please choose the private tour version of this tour and we can craft a personalized experience! With a max of 4 people, this is a fun and personalized way to explore the city. Proof of vaccination is required for all tours.

What To Expect
1
Capitol Hill
We will tour the neighborhood to get the cultural feel and start building that mental map of the different neighborhoods. Home to fabulous night life, indie shops and home of our LGBTQ community, Capitol Hill has it all!
2
Columbia City Theater
We will see the historic Columbia City neighborhood, which has lovely older buildings, loads of brand new apts and a light rail station. If you're looking for a neighborhood to settle in, this one is popular and a short train ride to downtown. Then we're off to Beacon Hill and over to Georgetown.
3
Beacon Hill Food Forest
We will check out the Beacon Hill neighborhood and discover incredible views and culture in this neighborhood just south of downtown. Then we're off to Georgetown!
4
Oxbow Park
The Georgetown neighborhood is one of my favorites, full of artists and bars and history! We will stop for a sweet treat at my favorite chocolatier in the city!

Lynn was a wonderful guide! Her tour was so easygoing it’s just like we’re long time friends driving around Seattle. She was able to tell me the history of the Seattle neighborhoods, she was able to give recommendations of the best shops and restaurants in Seattle! I love that she was able to show me Seattle’s Hidden Gems. Next time I’m going back to Seattle, I’ll book a tour with her again! 100% worth it!!
