I booked this tour going off of the reviews. I really didn't research a whole lot into what the day would actually consist of. We had a spectacular day! We left out of Sedona promptly at 7. Headed up to Flagstaff and then wove our way through many stops that included volcano remnants outside of Flagstaff, the Wuptaki National Monument, the Navajo Trading Post for lunch and then on to the Grand Canyon. It was a full day for sure. But we loved every moment. I'll be honest though, seeing the Wuptaki Monument and learning about that may have been our favorite part. Our tour guide was Kevin. He learned all of our names and kept us engaged the entire way. He is passionate about Arizona and it's people and it's obvious that he cares a great day for the land. I would highly recommend this tour. I had been once before, but never as part of a tour. I think its the only way to go!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable today visiting the Grand Canyon. This is an excellent way to see the Canyon as well as several other interesting stops along the way. We were picked up promptly at 7:25 (prior's day text said 7:30) and off we went. We took the scenic route up to Flagstaff to pick up another couple, and then the 10 of us (9 plus our guide Mark) set off. We visited Sunset Crater and the Wupatki National Monument. Lunch (included with the tour price) was at the Cameron Trading Post in the Navajo Nation reservation (try the Navajo Hot Beef - it was delicious) with some time for shopping. Then it was off to the Canyon. We stopped at 4 different points along the way, each one amazing. Then it was back towards Flagstaff, which we did via the scenic route. Then a shorter trip back to our hotel in Sedona. I agree with other reviewers who praised our guide Mark. He was everything the other reviews said he was -- knowledgeable, low key and with a quirky sense of humor. We learned so much about the plant and animal life of Northern Arizona, and how changes in elevation impact types of trees. His stories were entertaining as well as informative. He even grew up not far from where I did!! All in all this was an excellent trip and I cannot recommend it enough.

My family and I were very pleased with the tour and impressed by our tour guide Stevey B. He was very knowledgeable not only of the Grand Canyonā€™s geological history , but the people history as well. The tour allowed us to enjoy the scenery and our guide kept us captivated by its history!
