South Rim ULTIMATE Small Group Walking Tour

Overview

This is easily the best small group, fully-guided VIP tour of 10 or less to Grand Canyon South rim. It visits the most scenic viewpoints at Grand Canyon that are off-limits to public and commercial traffic. We’ll start at Bright Angel Lodge and walk to Hopi Point, the most stunning, scenic viewpoint at Grand Canyon. We stop along the trail, eat our picnic lunch, and enjoy the fully-guided walk. The small group size allows us to walk along at a very leisurely pace, take a lot of amazing photos, and absorb the surreal, tranquil beauty of the Grand Canyon. We’ll ride the shuttle bus back from Hopi Point.

What To Expect

Grand Canyon National Park

We'll park and then give you a fully guided and narrated walk and tour of the Grand Canyon. Our walk will visit the most scenic part of Grand Canyon National Park. We'll walk about three miles along the upper rim trail, stopping at the most majestic, inspiring viewpoints at Grand Canyon National Park. Your tour will include a McDonald's breakfast, picnic lunch, ten people or less, and a photo stop at Hoover Dam.

Be prepared for a long drive (~4 hours each way), but the view is definitely worth it. The small group makes things a little more personal than if you go by large bus. Our guide (Luis) was knowledgeable and friendly. This tour goes to the south rim, which is a national park (as opposed to the East/west rims which are native territory). Based on the curvature of the Canyon, the south rim offers the best views. The only reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 is that they made a mistake on our sandwiches (we got two turkey and a veggie instead of two roast beef and a ham).
