Our flight was most spectacular! The staff and crew were awesome! Our pilot, Dillon, was very experienced and informative. This was our first balloon experience and I would definitely go again. I loved every minute! Beautiful views.

Terrific ride with incredible views over wine country and all the way to the coast. We felt very safe with Dave, our experienced pilot who kept us entertained with stories and anecdotes. Thanks to the whole hard-working crew for a delightful morning. They even served us breakfast at the end of the ride: fruit, bread, cheese, orange juice with champagne, not to mention some wine samples and chocolate cake. Would recommend this balloon ride to anyone.

Despite the early start to the day, we had a wonderful adventure. The weather was clear (mandatory check in the day before confirms whether the balloons will fly). We were joined by others with a total of 12 in our group. After trying two potential launch spots (rejected because of the winds aloft) we headed for Winchester. Three other balloons were already being readied when we arrived. It takes a staff of four to manage one balloon--a pilot and three grounds people. Watching their speed and efficiency was a study in teamwork. Everyone we dealt with, from Gail on the phone to Dave our pilot, was friendly, professional, and helpful. Following our flight, we shared champagne or orange juice (or both!), then rode back to Vindemia Winery, our starting point, for a late breakfast, more champagne or coffee (or both!!). All totaled, we were finished by 9:30am. A great start to the day!
