Experience the thrill of catching a wave on Oahu’s North Shore, known worldwide as a surfing mecca. Head to Haleiwa and learn the basics from a licensed surf instructor who stays by your side, ensuring you catch gentle but rideable waves. Beginners, hang loose — your 2-hour lesson takes place in a protected cove at Haleiwa Beach Park, safely away from larger ocean swells. Choose from multiple options: group, semi-private or private family lesson in the morning, midday or afternoon.

I booked a group lesson with the North shore surf girls and it was awesome! My wife and I took a semi private lesson with them 4 years ago so I knew I wanted to go with them again this time. I was not dissapointed! Great intro and directions along the lesson. With Jen and Carols help I actually surfed most of the waves caught! Would def recommend them to anyone wanting to surf!

I had a great time surfing with North Shore Surf Girls. Carol was very informative and thorough with her instruction before we entered the water. I have surfed before this particular time, but the way Carol showed the group how to surf was much easier than what I have been taught previously. I stood up on most of the waves I attempted. There is also a photographer available that is in the water taking photographs, so you get extra great shots of your surfing!

I had a great time with the surfing lesson. This particular day had a higher swell causing conditions to be a bit more than usual. But I felt safe in their hands. I had a great experience with them. If your prone to heat rashes or easy to burn, I’d recommend wearing something long for the legs too. They provide the rashguard for the top. I would recommend this company.
