Overview

The Lux Drift wine tour is approximately 4-6 hrs from pick up to drop off. You will tour 3 great Driftwood/Dripping Springs wineries where you will enjoy different wines either by bottle service or if allowed a table side tasting, and stop for Lunch at Salt Lick BBQ, in one of our LUXurious Limousine style vehicles. ***It is important to note that this is a SHARED GROUP TOUR. (Parties of 2-4 may be completed in an SUV. Wine Tasting fees/bottles are NOT included in the tour price. **WE DO REQUIRE AT LEAST 4 GUESTS TO PROCEED WITH THE TOUR** SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO BOOK ONLY 2, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WE MAY CONTACT YOU TO SELECT A DIFFERENT DATE. What a great experience! We booked this for our anniversary and absolutely loved it! We met at the convention center in Austin. There were about eight other people that joined us for this tour. It was a full tour but everyone was so friendly. Our driver, Greg, was so great! He took tons of photos for us and would stop the limo outside of each vineyard so we could all get photos by the entrance signs. He also had icy cold waters in the limo for all of us. We drank tons of wine and ate amazing bbq. So fun!

Overall Greg our tour guide/driver was great and lunch was amazing... good barbecue. I will share with you out of the 3 wine locations, Wimberly Winery was the best - Keep up the great work! They treated us as a customer and not number walking in the door. Took the time to explain some of the history and wine. As for Duchman Winery, not so much. We were not greeted, had to ask for help, then when we walked up to the counter, they automatically gave us a price of the wine tasting... never took the time to notice our obvious bright tags on our wrist. Very rude customer service. Throwing the wine opener on the counter in front of us, didn't feel comfortable or safe standing in the area...The employee did this several times and noticed we felt uncomfortable. NOT a good experience...

Lux Limo was a pleasure to work with from the beginning. Andrea was super responsive and they let our group split payments with no issues. On the day of the tour, Greg picked us up on time and greeted us with a big smile and umbrellas since it was raining. Greg went above and beyond for our group. It was my friend's bachelorette and he made sure it was a special day. He took endless photos of us and they all came out great! He also gave us great marriage advice :) The limo was in great condition and we felt safe at all times. I would highly recommend Lux Limo to anyone in Austin looking for limo transportation or a fun wine tour.
