Too many people. Would be a good place to have chairs in each section where you can sit down relax look at things. Was hard to see everything because large groups of people would not move. Also should have had a tour guide in every room explaining things.

I loved visiting the Titanic with my family. It's a great, informative museum. It really brings the Titanic to life!

Arrived on time for our pre-purchased tour and still waiting almost 30 minutes past this to enter. This is a self-guided tour, with a crowd of people in your time slot. This made it challenging to see/hear all the acting and displays. It would be better to let people go in staggered instead of as a large group. I also somehow missed the “no photo” policy (speech given while you wait in line apparently) and did snap pictures of my kids shoveling coal and looking in on a 3rd class stateroom re-creation. At this point a staff member admonished me for my photo taking. I apologized and immediately put my phone away, but the staff person had an incredulous look on her face and walked away. Lo and behold she was around the corner at the grand staircase and gave a speech about the construction of that area while in character as a third class passenger. My elementary-aged daughter asked her a question once she finished and the employee’s bedside manner continued to be severely lacking. Posting some signage about the photo policy and reminding staff that a little kindness goes a long way, would be helpful. I’d you’re a history buff and enjoy reading and seeing lots of recreations and photographs, you’ll enjoy this. Having just done Biltmore, this felt more kitschy than historical.
