TreeUmph is great for people who can participate and not so good for those who have to wait while the rest finish the course. The adventure experience consists of five rope courses, each consecutively harder. Of our group of 10 - six adults and four children, only two of us made it all the way to the fifth course.
Everyone got to go on the zip line at the end, except for the smaller kids. Most of our group made it through course three. The guides were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive. The courses, even the easy ones, were very challenging.
I found the mechanical equipment which keeps you attached, somewhat difficult to manage. The people that got to go on the courses loved it - thought it was amazing.
The small children could do a special course, which was pretty challenging (age 7).
However, once the kids and grown ups who couldn't complete the harder courses were done, there was nothing for them to do but wait at "base camp" - a group of picnic tables, bathrooms, and a very minimal snack bar. Only sodas, chips, candy bars, and packaged ice cream treats were available to eat. We were there from 11 to almost 5. I recommend you bring sandwiches and drinks for the climbers, as well as for the people staying at base camp. We thought it would be perfect if base camp had a water playground, or even a regular playground, so the kids who are waiting could have some more fun too.
