This tour was amazing! Our tour guide Shaun made the tour an A plus tour! He k own the owners of all three farms and his knowledge of the horses present and past is on spot! He has a heart the size of Secretariat’s! If you are in the area I am planning on touring horse barns, look no further, this is the best tour you’ll find ! Thanks Shaun for an amazing day!!

If you truly love horses this is most definitely the tour for you. We visited three farms, firstly, Hill n Dale an ultra posh farm with a beautiful brick stable complex costing multiple million dollars. Next on the tour was Katierich Farm, here we had a truly hands on experience, we visited 3 barns, including mothers with their foals. In each barn we were encouraged to meander along the stalls and interact with the horses, feeding them mints and stroking them. It was easy to fall in love ... I fell in love with a yearling, Pick Me. The third farm we visited was Dromoland Farm North, here we strolled along the pasture fences and interacted with foals who almost competed for our attention. The countryside we drove through was idyllic, reminding me of pastures in England. Sean, our host and guide .... if I have one critique ... it would be that there was nothing he could improve on .... he was a friendly fount of knowledge. Do yourself a favor, if you love horses or just want a fun 1/2 day excursion whilst in Lexington .... book this tour!!!

Our guide Shaun, is a fountain of information of details of the horse industry of the area, as well an entertainer with many a story related to the people and places from his long experience around the area. We greatly enjoyed the tour.
