Texas Department of Transportation law requires that all children younger than 8 years old, unless taller than 4 feet 9 inches, be secured in a child safety seat whenever they ride in a vehicle. Stop at JDH Iron Design when open. Jimmy Don is a Texas treasure and as nice as they come. Please understand that we have no control over the operating hours of Jimmy Don's business, but we do stop when open and provide a discount ticket for shopping.

Joe was so fun and informative with a twist of entertaining. We did get to go in a house and saw several. I would recommend this for an enjoyable afternoon trip

We didn’t realize when booking the tour that everything except a few mediocre food places wouldn’t be open on Sunday in Waco including the entire Magnolia complex. The tour included “entry/admission to JDH iron designs” which also was not open on Sunday so that was misleading. Probably because of that and coming from New York it didn’t occur to us that retail was closed on Sunday. Other than that the tour was enjoyable.

Thanks for booking the tour. I'm glad you found the tour enjoyable and no doubt you enjoyed going into a house that was done by the Gaines on Fixer Upper show too as it's a once in a lifetime experience (and not guaranteed). I regret that you didn't like going on Sunday because Harp Design and JDH Iron Design are closed. To be clear, you are not charged for these and they are only listed as stops. We do provide discount coupons to both, but unfortunately can't control that they are closed on Sunday. We substitute with other opportunities on Sunday and most folks find the tour as a great thing to do as they see the Fixer Upper sites and explore/learn about Waco.
