What To Expect

Atlantis Submarines Waikiki

The Atlantis submarine Hawaii adventure begins with a short (approximately 10 minutes) shuttle ride out to the submarine boarding site. Descending below, your time underwater on the Oahu submarine tour is around 45 minutes. Returning to the world above, your shuttle is waiting to return you to land. The Oahu submarine tour dive site is home to many Hawaiian fish, coral and turtles. On this truly eye-opening experience, you'll visit sunken ships, airplanes and other artificial reefs. The submarine has a spacious air-conditioned interior, large view ports and comfortable seating. If you haven't taken a trip to the bottom of the ocean before, the Atlantis Submarine Oahu Adventure is a "must do" for the whole family during your visit to Hawaii. Check out the world's largest hi-tech 64-passenger submarine offers an enhanced amount of personal space and large viewports only available to Premium Tour passengers.

got great pictures of my group, safely transported to sub, loaded on board safely. view was good with items placed to attract underwater animals. we saw 5 turtles, 3 rays, many fish. think we were lucky

This experience exceeded our expectations, this is a real submarine trip not like some of those in Europe where you are just sat in a boat sitting below the water line. Dived down over a 100ft and viewed shipwrecks and sunken aircraft making artificial reefs, saw turtles various marine life including sharks basking under the wing of a sunken plane. Awesome experience

I truly enjoyed Atlantis Adventures's Oahu's Premium Submarine Adventure. I feel the price was fair and apt for the offer. I loved: the majestic view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from our yacht transfer from Port to the submarine; the very warm and genuine joy of the crew and staff; the comfort and ease of the whole thing (from booking to diving); the schedule; the multi-lingual audio translation provided on-board; the awesome marine creatures; and the highlight spots underwater--esp. the rich history that came with viewing sunken ships, aircraft vessel, and whatnot. If ever there was something I'd like to improve on, is perhaps the ability of our viewing glass to counter the sunlight rays' effect underwater. Everything is just in the blue hue so we weren't able to see the full glory of the colorful reefs and fishes. I would recommend this as a must for anyone who shall visit Hawaii. It's fulfilling to witness the richness of the underwater environment coupled with the rich history that settled underneath Oahu's waters.
