What To Expect

Atlantis Submarines Waikiki

The Atlantis submarine Hawaii adventure begins with a short (approximately 10 minutes) shuttle ride out to the submarine boarding site. Descending below, your time underwater on the Oahu submarine tour is around 45 minutes. Returning to the world above, your shuttle is waiting to return you to land. The Oahu submarine tour dive site is home to many Hawaiian fish, coral and turtles. On this truly eye-opening experience, you'll visit sunken ships, airplanes and other artificial reefs. The submarine has a spacious air-conditioned interior, large view ports and comfortable seating. If you haven't taken a trip to the bottom of the ocean before, the Atlantis Submarine Oahu Adventure is a "must do" for the whole family during your visit to Hawaii. Check out the world's largest hi-tech 64-passenger submarine offers an enhanced amount of personal space and large viewports only available to Premium Tour passengers.

we met our goal of being on a submarine! we did see a lot of fish (not nearly as colorful as this stock photo), some turtles, and some planes and ships that the submarine company bought, made eco-friendly, and sunk there for our viewing pleasure. and it was a good experience. our captain and dive guide were knowledgeable and friendly. good for a one time experience if a submarine is on your bucket list.

Worth every penny spent. How often do you get to ride in a sub 100 feet under the ocean? Saw fish and sea turtles. Sub was repositioned to give everyone a chance to see everything. Staff very professional and accomodating. There was a mix up with my initial booking and they did not hesitate to fix it which shows you arre dealing with a reputable organization. Enjoyed so much would do it again when in Hawaii. Thank you Atlantis for a great memory!!!!!

We had never been in a submarine before, so when we found this we decided to give it a go. It was actually pretty cool and we saw a lot of tropical fish and even sharks. The only truly cheesy part was the "Dive! Dive!" and the buzzer sound at the beginning. The crew and staff were delightful. It's worth doing once.
