We selected this tour because it included a boat ride on the Potomac River. Our tour guide (Valerie) and bus driver were excellent. However, I do have 2 complaints. There was a young couple and their 2 year old child on our tour bus. The child screamed and cried during the entire 6 hour tour. It was difficult, if not impossible, to hear the tour guide, even though she was speaking into a microphone. The boat ride was nice, however, you could not hear the narration over the loud speaker. I asked the employees at the concession stand it the volume could be made louder, and was told it was at the maximum level. My cousin had traveled from the west coast to join my family on this tour (she had never been to Washington DC). I felt bad for her, as she missed out on so much ... mostly due to the screaming child. I'm sure others on the bus shared my frustration. This is a wonderful tour, however, there should be age restrictions for passengers.

Stephen and Tracey were awesome, it was sometimes hard to here in the back of the bus but overall it’s was a great tour! A lot of walking but worth every mile!

We saw all the major monuments and had a great cruise on the river. The bus was air conditioned...thankfully and there were outlets to charge phones!
