I really enjoyed the tour of Georgetown that I took with Catherine and I find myself thinking back on it often. Even though I have lived in Washington, DC for over 40 years, I learned so many new things and feel like I really saw the neighborhood up close, like an inhabitant would after spending a lot of time there. Catherine deftly mixed historical tales with real estate tidbits and unexpected insider information about the buildings, residents and customs of Georgetown. It was also so much fun to speak French with the other participants and see this fascinating part of the city through their eyes!

I took my students on this tour to learn something about the capital IN FRENCH! It was an amazing experience, they loved it! Marie is a knowledgable and entertaining guide. Every moment of this two (a bit longer) hour tour was fun and informative. I highly recommend it to French speakers, but also to French learners!
