Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Guests will then meet their personal guide and recieve the necessary equipment Including: life jacket, helmet and paddle.
After your guide double-checks to make sure all equipment is fitted properly, guests then hop on our bus for a short 10-minute ride to the launching point for your trip.

Huey was an excellent guide! I wish it were longer. It's a great beginners rafting trip. The only thing bad I can say was the random group they choose to raft with us did not speak English and were wearing jeans/sweats.

This was my 2nd time rafting with Big Creek Expeditions in the past 3 months. The first time was me and two of my friends. This past weekend, Labor Day weekend, my husband and I took all our kids and their "others" for a fun weekend. There were 12 of us total. My guide a few months ago was a young man named Dillan! Us three girls LOVED him as a guide. He made our rafting trip a blast! Very respectable and funny! This pas weekend were were broke into 2 rafts because there were 12 of us. We had Johnny B and Cody as guides. I was actually on Johnny B's raft and talk about FUN!!!! He took our group and had us "surf" the water and all sorts of other fun things! We splashed around and just had a great adventure! Johnny told us about all the different rapids that were coming up, what to expect and what fun we would have at each! He soaked each side of our raft equally! LOL Our kids on the other raft said they had a good time with Cody as well. Because of other rafts and kayaks in their way, they didn't get to do as much as we did with Johnny B but they still had a great time! We loved it Big Creek! We will be back and I DEFINITELY recommend them! The employees are always nice and very accommodating as well!
