Alaskan Sled Dog Excursion in Fairbanks

Take a glimpse into the traditional life of a sleddog in Interior Alaska. The lineage of these dogs traces back to when the first Native Alaskans/Inuit people inhabited the Arctic. We also have dogs from the Canadian/Greenland Arctic regions and promote the subsistence lifestyle of those Arctic cultures.

These dogs will show you what they have been born and bred to do as pack animals, while we have been stewards of their care for the past centuries, maintaining this heritage. Witness the outright enthusiasm these dogs have for doing what they love!

This was a belated Valentine’s gift for my boyfriend and we had a BLAST!! Tabitha took us on a little tour and let us visit with the younger dogs who were not yet ready for sledding. She explained all the different breeds she has and the purposes of each. Her dogs are well mannered, well cared for, and just beautiful. Tabitha, thank you so much for all you do to allow people like us to enjoy your dogs and their athleticism!! We definitely recommend you!

Hello all, We highly recommend this experience in the summer or winter. The owner of the dogs (Tabitha) was absolutely a wonderful host to us. She showed us her world with the dogs, knew an incredible amount about the profession, and let us interact with the dogs throughout the experience. We went out on a quad to have the dogs pull us and they were amazing! This was surely a highlight of our time in Alaska this August. Thanks Tabitha!!!!
